Thanks to David Sieren of The Post Family and the AIGA for including me in such a fun event.
Here’s my little corner of the gallery.
Below is “Spam/Post”—a series of typographic posters using spam I received at my various sites. (I designed the fonts, too.)
And these are the abstract compositions designed on the computer that I then hand-painted onto panels of plywood (for no reason except I thought it was funny and kinda backwards):
Below is a shot of one of the above panels in progress:

“What the heck is ‘Gap?!’ It’s on everything!”
“The love never ends.”
“Daddy, our house got a parking ticket!” (we got an orange flyer on our door.)
“Hmmm. It smells like ginger out here.”
I hadn’t showered, so I was wearing a baseball cap this morning. Finn asked why, so I removed the cap: “Yikes” was his response.
“Welcome to Hugtown.”
“You didn’t say ‘excuse me.’”

Just found out that this will be released May 25. Looking forward to reading it, as the first two were pretty entertaining…
