Just back from Disneyworld

Had a blast with the family (see Cormac‘s and Finn‘s sites for more) and enjoyed a mix of… Future… Nature… And some stuff in between…

Collect All 4

Holy blast from the past. My friend Micah just got in touch after years and years. He was the drummer in my early-90s band Collect All 4. He had a buch of boombox or 4-track recordings of us. “Re-Vinylized” is a 30-minute documentary about independent record stores in Chicago.

Internet Explorer

My favorite thing to do on Lisa’s iPad is pull up the satellite view of Google Maps (without labels) and just zoom around the world… ↑ A beautiful hiccup of a view in Greenland.   ↑ The I-90 floating bridge in Seattle.   ↑ Containers at the Port of Seattle.   ↑ Some crazy, colorful […]

When I was a kid, I’d often just stare out the car window and imagine myself alongside the car skating. Jumping off or over whatever came along. Sliding, grinding, ollying, and pulling tricks at speed in the landscape that scrolled by. This movie perfectly captures the feeling of those imaginary rides.
